DIY Poop Spray with Essential Oils

So everyone poops. And poop stinks. There’s probably nothing more embarrassing than going number two and having others know you did it!

Because of this, DIY poop spray with essential oils (“poo-pourri”) is the magical spray guaranteed to make sure that your poop doesn’t create an epic amount of stink.

Due to the average aerosol spray air fresheners only masking the smell, they aren’t very effective. Rather than having someone know you just went, Poop Spray is natural and does NOT contain harsh chemicals, aerosol, parabens, phthalates, or formaldehyde.

How Poop Spray Works

First of all, DIY poop spray with essential oils really works! Hence, just spray the toilet water before going number two, and the essential oils will trap the poop smell beneath the water — while at the same time emitting a lovely fragrance instead!

Also, using rubbing alcohol in this easy recipe helps to stabilize the mixture and keep the oil and water mixed better. Yet, remember to shake before use.

Ingredients for DIY Poop Spray with Essential Oils

– 1 tsp rubbing alcohol

– 50 drops of essential oil of choice

(Our favorite combinations are:

Bergamot & Lemongrass & Pink Grapefruit 

Spearmint & Eucalyptus Globulus

Lavender & Vanilla,  & Lemongrass)

– Water

– 4oz Empty Spray Bottle

Directions
Pour the rubbing alcohol and essential oils into a 4 oz. spray bottle (use any essential oil combo you like). Add water to fill the container, and shake well!

Typically, 3 – 4 sprays is enough to cover the bowl and trap all of the nasty stink below.
