If you’re like me, you might be really excited to get to work making some fun (and functional) DIY recipes with essential oils from the Bio Source Naturals site. But you might also be like me and forget to have everything you need to make your concoctions.

First of all, what you’ll discover from the start is that you can’t do anything without a list of essential oil conversions.

Almost always, you need a conversion chart when making essential oil recipes. A teaspoon equals how many milliliters (ml)? Oh, wait, I need to know how many drops are in a milliliter! Seems like every recipe calls for different essential oil conversions!

Therefore, print the following and keep it with all of your essential oil supplies. Or maybe even laminate it, put a magnet on the back, and stick it on your refrigerator!

Whatever you do, keep your essential oil conversion chart in a handy place.

Essential Oil Conversions

1 drop = approx. 60 mg

1 ml = 1/5 teaspoon

1 ml = approx. 16 drops

1 ml = fills one capsule

5 ml = 1 teaspoon

5 ml = approx. 80 drops

15 ml = 1 Tablespoon

15 ml = 1/2 fluid ounce
