Tropical flowers are known for their breathtaking fragrance, perfect for a special perfume. Spice up your life with this exotic DIY recipe:
Using essential oils to make natural perfumes is fun and satisfying and makes great gifts. You will first need to make a base which can be either alcohol or a carrier oil such as jojoba. Jojoba has a long shelf life. Best results are achieved by using a combination of both, as detailed next.
Use 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and 1 teaspoon of Vodka. Place these in the bottle. Add the essential oils from the recipe, below, one drop at a time. After adding the essential oils, put the closure and lid on. Gently shake the mixture together. Store in a dark place for two weeks. After two weeks — VOILA! — the blend should have matured and your natural perfume is ready to use!
Add the following essential oils to the base above.
