Anise (Star) (Illicium verum) Pure Essential Oil Aromatherapy - Aromatherapy - Therapeutic Quality

Country of Origin: Originates from China. Extracted through steam distillation of seeds.

Description: Spicy, warm, licorice-like aroma. Used by fishermen to mask human scent in order to fish trout. A wonderful perfumery addition in subtle quantities, especially in citrus blends, or as an underpinning to a vanilla blend. Very sweet, and similar to anethole, with slight musky notes.

Suggestions:

• Anise (Star) pure essential oil can be used in facial steams and diffusers.
• Blends well with cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, fennel, lavender, lime, neroli, nutmeg, orange, peppermint, rose, tea tree.

Packaged: 0.5 fl oz (15 ml) with Euro dropper,1 fl oz, (30 ml) with Euro dropper, 2 fl oz (60 ml) amber glass pourable bottle and 4 fl oz (120 ml) amber glass pourable bottle. Safety shrink wrapped.

Instructions: Dilute 3-5 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil.

• Dilute with carrier oil for direct skin contact.
• If you have sensitive skin, you dilute the oil with a touch more carrier oil before applying.
• Anise (Star) pure essential oil can slow down the reflexes. You should avoid anything that requires full attention.
• Potentially carcinogenic, based on estragole and safrole content. May cause reproductive hormone modulation and may inhibit blood clotting.
• Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and individuals with certain health conditions (endometriosis, estrogen-dependent cancer) should consult with a healthcare professional before using this oil.
