• People with dry or sensitive skin may want to use a touch more oil when using carriers. Avoid on hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin, children under 2 years of age.
• Clove bud pure essential oil should be used more than leaf or stem oils because of their harsher natures.
• May interact with pethidine, MAOIs or SSRIs, anticoagulant medications. Those with bleeding disorders should avoid.
