Country of Origin: Originates from India. Extracted through steam distillation of leaves and flowering tops.

Description: Warm, herbaceous, aromatic. Aroma is sweet, light and fresh, slight spicy, and cleansing. Thyme pure essential oil stimulates the brain and helps memory and concentration. Thyme pure essential oil aroma is warm, herbaceous, and aromatic. CT Thymol type is a chemotype which has more thymol in it than other thyme oils. For this reason, more cautions are necessary than the CT Linalool type.

Suggestions: Blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, chamomile, and lemon.

• Do not add to bath water, thyme pure essential oil is a “hot” oil.
• Use sparingly as thyme pure essential oil can be toxic if used in excess.
• Thyme pure essential oil can be sensitizing to the skin. Dilute with 1% Thyme oil to 99% carrier. Test for sensitivity before using.
• Dilute with carrier oil for direct skin contact.
• This oil is not advised for people with high blood pressure, as it is a stimulating oil.
• Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not use if epileptic.
• Avoid if on anticoagulant medication, major surgery, peptic ulcer, hemophilia, other bleeding disorders.
