This natural perfume recipe is a combination of balsamic, woody, and fruity oils. The exotic scents are designed to calm and center you.*
Using essential oils to make natural perfumes is fun and satisfying and also makes great gifts. You will first need to make a base which can be either alcohol or a carrier oil such as jojoba. Jojoba has a long shelf life. Best results are achieved by using a combination of both, as detailed below.
Use 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and 1 teaspoon of vodka. Place these in the bottle. Add the essential oils from the recipe, below, one drop at a time. After adding the essential oils, put the closure and lid on. Gently shake the mixture together. Store in a dark place for two weeks. After two weeks – VOILA! – the blend should have matured and will be ready to use!
Add the following essential oils to the base above.
