Essential oils can be used as a natural support for managing frustration and promoting relaxation. The scent of certain essential oils can have calming and mood-enhancing effects on the mind and body.
We have developed custom essential oil blends and lotions designed to help you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Many of our essential oil blends are available in concentrates, sprays, and pre-diluted roll-ons.
Note: All pure essential oils and essential oil blend concentrates must be diluted with a carrier oil before applying to your skin.
When using essential oils for frustration relief, there are several methods of application you can try:
When making these blends, it’s essential to use high-quality, pure essential oils and to perform a patch test before applying them to your skin. It’s also advisable to consult with a qualified aromatherapist, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are pregnant.
Feel free to adjust the essential oil ratios based on your personal preferences, but be mindful to not exceed the recommended total number of drops in the recipes.
Here are some DIY simple essential oil recipes that can be helpful for managing frustration and promoting relaxation:
Soothing Room Diffuser Blend
Combine the essential oils in a small glass bottle with dropper. Then, add 3-5 drops of the blend to your diffuser to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere in the room. You can find additional uplifting diffuser blends in our blog “Uplifting Diffuser Blends“.
Tranquil Body Oil Blend
Mix the essential oils and carrier oil in a dark glass bottle and shake well to blend. Apply a small amount of the oil blend to your wrists, temples, or the back of your neck to promote relaxation and soothe frustration.
Frustration-Relief Roller Blend
Mix the essential oils in a roller bottle and then fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil. Apply the blend to pulse points (wrists, temples, neck) and inhale deeply whenever you feel frustrated or stressed.
Serene Bath Soak
Mix the essential oils with Epsom salts and add to a warm bath. Soak in the bath for about 20 minutes to relax your body and mind, easing feelings of frustration.
Peaceful Pillow Spray
Add the essential oils to the spray bottle and top off with distilled water. Shake well before use. Spray the calming blend onto your pillow before bedtime to unwind and reduce feelings of frustration.
Note: Remember to store these blends in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. When using essential oils, always dilute them properly and perform a patch test before applying them to your skin. If you have any sensitivities or allergies, consult with a certified aromatherapist or healthcare provider before use.
When used together or separately, essential oils can be beneficial for managing frustration by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and enhancing mood. It is important to note that individual responses to essential oils may vary, and some oils may cause sensitivities or allergic reactions in some individuals. It is always advisable to perform a patch test and consult with a healthcare professional or aromatherapist before using essential oils, especially if you have any existing health conditions or are on medication.
