Peach tree leaf oil is obtained from the leaves of the Peach tree which is also known as Prunus persica. It is mostly common in Northwest China where it was first cultivated. It is also common in Persia and was later introduced to Europe. Whilst the fruit produced from the Peach tree is edible and delicious, the oil obtained from its leaves is famous for their healing properties and skin rejuvenating qualities.
Ancient traditions in China made use of the Peach Tree leaf oil through boiling the leaves and was used on the skin of ladies to prevent aging. The Peach Tree is most common in China and its existence dates as far back as 1100BC. History has it that the Peach fruit was introduced to Europe by Alexander the Great after conquering Persia.
