• Aroma: Light, piney.
• Tree Characteristics: Pine is an evergreen tree native to Asia and Europe. It grows to a height of 115-130 feet and features greenish-blue needle-like leaves and cones.
• Extraction Process: Commonly extracted by steam distillation of needles/leaves and sometimes from the bark.
• Uses of Pine Tree: Pine trees are widely used for wood in construction, furniture, boats, paper, pine oil, and pine nuts.

Scots pine pure essential oil blends well with:

• Citrus Oils: Bergamot, lemon, lime.
• Herbal & Woody Oils: Clary sage, cedarwood, eucalyptus, frankincense, marjoram, rosemary, sandalwood, thyme.
• Floral Oils: Geranium, lavender.
• Spicy Oils: Black pepper, cardamom, ginger root.
• Other Oils: Tea tree, pine.
