Country of Origin: Originates from China. Extracted through steam distillation of root.

Description: Smells warm, woody, and spicy, with a hint of lemon and pepper. Reminiscent of powdered ginger. Stimulating, warming, aphrodisiac, and tonic.

Uses: This is a warming oil, also prone to cause irritation when used in high concentration. Ginger root pure essential oil can be used in a warm bath to soothe tired muscles: Ginger pure essential oil should be blended with half & half, honey, or vinegar before adding to the water to prevent the oil from floating to the top of the water.

Suggestions: Blends with orange, lemon, ylang ylang. For aches and pains use 4 drops french lavender and 2 drops ginger.
