NEW! Biosource Naturals Facial Serums Using Essential Oils

Facial serums are lightweight moisturizers that penetrate deeper to deliver active ingredients into your skin. We have blended some of the best pure essential oils known for their therapeutic qualities for skin care in these serums.

Base Carrier Oils Provide Benefits

Dilute 5-10 drops of the independent essential oils, below, in 2 tablespoons of base oil, with 2 drops carrot oil. Use in the same way as a moisturizing cream or lotion.**

Carrot oil, as an essential oil, is often used as a base oil, due to its immense healing properties. It is rejuvenating and reduces scarring, and can be used to treat premature aging, itching, dryness, psoriasis and eczema.*

Almond oil, a base oil, is moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and reduces wrinkles. It is also rich in vitamin E and can protect skin from oxidative stress.*

Apricot kernel oil, another base oil, is rich in gamma linoleic acid, or GLA, which comes from essential fatty acid omega-6. The GLA content in apricot kernel oil helps skin to maintain moisture balance.*

Store the above carrier oils in airtight containers for up to a year, and throw away if they become rancid or discolored.

Tea tree and French lavender essential oil are the best essential oils for healthy cleansing and purifying. Both tea tree and lavender have antifungal properties.* Tea tree essential oil and French lavender essential oil work better together (synergistic) for cleansing and purifying than when they are used separately.
