German chamomile is native to Europe and Asia. The plant grows to a height of approximately 3 feet. Greek physicians used chamomile for female ailments and fevers. Today, in southern Europe, chamomile is still used for childbearing and female reproductive issues.  Egyptian sages found the plant to reduce fevers and dedicated chamomile to the sun.
